Originally from England and now based in rural Ohio, Alex has spent the past decade producing films documenting the American experience, covering everything from music legends to pressing social issues. He was showrunner on “The Lincoln Project”– a five-part documentary series for SHOWTIME directed by Academy Award® nominated directors Karim Amer and Fisher Stevens that was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for best limited series. He has previously worked with acclaimed directors Joe Berlinger, Abigail Disney, Kathleen Hughes, and Thom Zimny and credits include the Emmy® Award-winning “Springsteen on Broadway”, and the Iraq war protest film “We Are Many”. Together these films have appeared on HBO, NETFLIX, SHOWTIME, and PBS and been screened at major film festivals including Sundance, SXSW, Telluride, and Tribeca Film Festival. His first foray into narrative film was as co-producer on "Remember This" an experimental feature starring the Academy Award®-nominee David Strathairn as Polish resistance fighter Jan Karski.
